Safe ways to farm organic polymer?

I recently got a fabricator and want to experiment with polymer goods. I've gotten a few organic polymer by a swamp from small birds but im not seeing any respawn. I'm thinking about maybe taking my 2 megaldons and basillo up north to kill kirukus. Am I strong enough to make it there and back? Are there other ways to get polymer easily?

Just fly a bird up north and land on one of the islands and kill the penguins on the island if you harvest with your bird you eat decent polymer numbers.

Moschops with all the points in Organic Polymer carried to said location by an argent. You will have more Poly than you know what to do with, especially now that you can ride Moschops.

Penguins give it to you and they are by far the easiest way to get it.

I think mantis will give you more tho along with some decent xp. If you got a wyvern that needs leveling, thats the way i recommend doing it.

Are the snails not viable anymore?

Snails (or my snails, anyway) will produce about 11-13 organic polymer before the rate of decay matches the rate of production. I keep 4 snails, so that's ~44 polymers waiting for me when I log in. Usually enough for ghillie maintenance, but when I find an ascendant ghillie blueprint that requires hundreds of polymer, then it's time to drag the furs out of the attic and go on a field trip.

Hit penguins with a wooden club to get the most polymer by hand. I've used a pelagornis to harvest before, but found it annoying. A moschops with harvesting points in organic poly will also harvest large amounts but you also have to fly it there and back.

I don't have flyers. Can it be done with just my ocean dinos?

Yes. If your water dinos can handle alpha megladons. That should be strongest thing you run across. NW corner of map has islands that only have penguins. Bring warm clothing.

Bola a ptera, tranq it. Make a trap with 6 stone gateways and lure an argentavis in. Fly to North West glaciers. Don't do it with ocean dinos unless you're ok with them dying.

Make some veggie cakes and go tame a bunch of snails. I think you get about 20 organic polymer a day per snail.

Go to scorched earth or an ice berg and bring a moschops which is acc i found out recently a really easy tame
